I hope you don't mind me making a suggestion, but no formaldehyde free flooring list is complete without mentioning Staybull flooring. They are the only flooring company making green flooring out of the solid hardwood strips that all these wasteful flooring and lumber companies throw away. I was EXTREMELY skeptical of how it would look, but I have to say that even my personal interior designer was impressed. I have a rustic aesthetic in my home, but if, like my friend wants me to, swtich over to a modern, or transitional design, she said that I would have no choice but to use Staybull's line of eco-flooring. I'm a tree hugging mom too, so i would have no problem following her advice...now if i can only get my husband to agree! LOL!
