Martha Stewart Carpet

What Is Martha Stewart Carpet

You may have heard that Martha Stewart is now partnering with the Home Depot.  Early this year Home Depot and Martha released a line of paint, cleaning products and storage solutions.  But recently they released a line of carpets — Martha Stewart Carpet.

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about this at first.  We all know the Martha Stewart name and we know that she has quality products.  But it seemed a stretch for her to get into the flooring business.  After checking out the line however, I must admit that I am impressed.  The line of Martha Stewart carpet is Nylon and produced by Shaw with its patented R2X stain treatment.

What this means for the carpet is that it is highly stain resistant and resists general wear.  You might remember from an earlier article that the R2X system repels liquid, keeping anything that has spilled from soaking into the carpet fibers it’s backing and ultimately the carpet pad.  This makes the carpet easier to clean and prevents stains from soaking into the pad and wicking back into the carpet fibers after it’s been cleaned.

The Martha Stewart carpet line has Home Depot’s highest warranty, lifetime stain resistance and 20 year texture retention.  A percentage of the carpet fiber is recycled and the entire carpet can be recycled later on, instead of filling up a land fill.

For those of us who have trouble coordinating carpet and paint colors, the new line of carpet has little symbols next to the color names.  These symbols coordinate with the Martha Stewart line of paint so all you have to do to find colors that look good together is match the symbol!  They couldn’t have made it any easier.

Whether you are looking for a long lasting, eco friendly or color friendly carpet you should consider the Martha Stewart line of carpet at the Home Depot.
