New Martha Stewart Living Kitchens

Find The Right Kitchen Cabinets With Martha Stewart Living Kitchens

For those watching the latest news on home improvement products, Home Depot has revealed another Martha Stewart Living product line. The newest line is Martha Stewart Living Kitchens.  The product line includes kitchen cabinets, Corian solid surface countertops, laminate countertops and cabinet hardware.  For this post, we will just look into the new features of the cabinet line.

There are eleven different kitchen cabinet door styles, in several wood types, tones, as well as laminate finishes. If you’re looking for a low maintenance cabinet front, consider the Purestyle door type. It’s designed to look like a painted front but is actually a molded decorative panel certified by the KCMA (Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association). In addition, there is also ten different types of glass inserts as well.

The Martha Stewart Living Kitchens cabinets have four impressive features that all come standard: Quietclose door, Quietclose drawer, dovetail drawer box and premium full extension drawer guide.

The Quietclose door and drawer feature is nice because it makes slamming your drawers or doors impossible.  By making sure that they can’t be slammed you protect and extend the life of your new cabinets. Quietclose is a feature many manufacturers have, but most only offer standard on their most expensive line. Otherwise you have to pay extra.  It is nice to see a cabinet line that offers them standard.

The Dovetail drawer box and premium full extension drawer guide are also nice features that will help extend the life of your cabinets.  Dovetailed drawer boxes in particular a very important feature as they are stronger than stapled together drawer boxes.  Because the joints fit together like a jigsaw puzzle instead of just being two flat pieces of wood secured together.

There are other features available when ordering that come at a cost that are made to help get your new cabinets organized.  The Martha Stewart Living Kitchens line has sliding shelf bases, tray dividers and expandable spice shelves to just a name a few of the options available.  The line of organizational parts for your  cabinets are designed to make your kitchen both stylish and functional.

The Martha Stewart Living Kitchens line also color coordinates with other Martha Stewart Living products at the Home Depot, which is a great feature for anyone who is unsure of color and does not want to hire a designer.  And the price of the cabinets seems comparable to the other cabinet lines at the Home Depot.  To me, this looks like an excellent well thought out product line and I hope it does well.
